TubeLeader Extension Terms of Use
Additional rules for installing and using the TubeLeader browser extension on supported YouTube pages. Read together with our Terms of Service and Extension Privacy Policy.
These Extension Terms of Use (“Extension Terms”) govern your installation and use of the TubeLeader browser extension for Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (the “extension”). They are in addition to, and incorporate, our Terms of Service; where these Extension Terms conflict with the general Terms for matters specific to the extension, these Extension Terms control. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Extension Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the extension, or uninstall it.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You may install and use the extension only if you meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service, including being at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher). Some extension features require a TubeLeader account and an enabled plan entitlement; account eligibility, payment and plan rules are governed by the Terms of Service and the Refund and Payment Policy.
2. License
Subject to these Extension Terms and the Terms of Service, TubeLeader grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to install and use the extension on browsers you control, for your own lawful creator-research purposes. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. The extension, including its software, design and content, remains the property of TubeLeader and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. This license ends automatically if you breach these Extension Terms or uninstall the extension.
3. Installation, updates and official source
Install the extension only from the official Chrome Web Store listing when available. Your browser may deliver updates automatically; you agree to receive these updates, which may add, change or remove features. Do not distribute, publish or represent modified or unofficial copies of the extension as TubeLeader, and do not attempt to package or resell it. We may change, suspend or discontinue the extension or any of its features at any time, subject to your mandatory rights.
4. Permissions and YouTube page changes
The extension requires the browser permissions disclosed in its Store listing and in the Extension Privacy Policy — including on-device storage, larger local caches, background scheduling, and host access to youtube.com (for on-page features) and tubeleader.com (for login and server-backed requests). The extension operates on YouTube pages that YouTube controls and can change at any time; changes by YouTube to its pages, internal data, APIs, quotas or policies can interrupt or disable extension features without notice, and TubeLeader is not responsible for such interruptions.
5. Plans, entitlements and usage limits
Some extension capabilities require sign-in and an enabled plan entitlement. Usage allowances, daily free-use limits, refresh timing and feature availability are controlled by the live plan configuration and can change. Server-backed features (such as AI analysis, revenue estimates, sponsorship analysis, channel analytics and monetization checks) are subject to those entitlements and limits. Attempting to exceed, bypass or circumvent plan or rate limits is prohibited.
6. Restrictions
You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the extension except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction; (b) bypass, disable or interfere with authentication, plan controls, rate limits, security or other technical measures; (c) use the extension with unauthorized automation to overload the Service, mass-harvest data, or reconstruct restricted datasets; (d) resell, redistribute or provide the extension or its outputs as a competing bulk-data service; (e) abuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to YouTube, TubeLeader or their systems; (f) use the extension to harass, stalk, deceive, defraud, or to profile or draw unlawful conclusions about a person; or (g) use the extension in violation of the YouTube Terms of Service, our Terms of Service, our Extension Privacy Policy, or any applicable law. You are responsible for your use of the extension and its outputs.
7. Research outputs and estimates
The badges, scores, views-per-hour and outlier indicators, subscriber and monetization signals, revenue ranges, sponsorship classifications, demographic and niche observations, similar-channel results and AI-assisted analyses shown by the extension are calculations, models, heuristics or AI observations built from public information. They are directional research aids, not verified private facts, not financial advice, and not guarantees of views, rankings, income, monetization approval, sponsorships or any result. Do not present them as private YouTube facts. You are responsible for independently verifying important conclusions before relying on them.
8. Privacy and consent
Our handling of information through the extension — including local storage, the public YouTube fields it reads, the data sent for server-backed features, and consent-based extension presence — is described in the Extension Privacy Policy. Signed-in and presence features begin only after you affirmatively consent on the dedicated TubeLeader Extension sign-in/connect page; you can withdraw consent by signing out or disconnecting the extension. By using signed-in features, you acknowledge that policy.
9. Third-party services
The extension relies on third parties, including Google/YouTube for public data (subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy) and the configured AI provider for AI-assisted analysis. Your use of those services through the extension is also subject to their terms. TubeLeader is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube or Google.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The extension and its outputs are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. TubeLeader does not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every YouTube change, or that any estimate or result will be accurate. The disclaimers and limitations of liability in our Terms of Service apply in full to your use of the extension.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the extension or its server-backed features, with or without notice, if you violate these Extension Terms, our Terms of Service or applicable law, create a security or fraud risk, or fail to pay. You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including the license limits, restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability and privacy terms — survive termination.
12. Changes to these Extension Terms
We may update these Extension Terms to reflect changes to the extension, our business or the law. Material changes will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, prompt renewed consent before signed-in features continue. Continued use of the extension after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
