About Canam Missing Project
CanAm Missing is a group of retired police officers, search and rescue experts (SAR) and other professionals that are dedicated to researching, on scene investigating and generally understanding the issues associated with people who go missing in the wilds of North America. This has typically been a project that is intensely worked by search and rescue teams starting when the victim is reported lost and usually continuing for the following 7-14 days, the case then flounders in a file cabinet. After years of reading thousands of SAR reports, speaking with dozens of victims, we believe the paradigm of this effort needs change. Law enforcement and the media usually do not publicize concerns of kidnapping or abduction when the missing can be explained through traditional means. There are too many of these cases to ignore and there is a consistency to the stories. Read More at:
How to read Canam Missing Project's numbers
Average views per video (82,998). This spreads lifetime views across every public upload, so older uploads that have had years to accumulate views are averaged together with recent ones. It is a useful scale check, not a prediction of how the next video will perform.
Views per subscriber (164.1). A rough measure of how much watch demand each subscriber represents over the channel's lifetime. Channels that reach large non-subscribed audiences — through search, Shorts or recommendations — tend to show a higher figure than channels that rely mainly on their existing subscriber base.
Upload cadence (~7 per month). Averaged across the channel's full history of about 12.1 years, so a channel that changed format or publishing pace along the way will not match this figure in any single recent month.
All figures come from public YouTube channel data and are refreshed on a schedule. They are research signals for comparison and context — they are not private YouTube Studio analytics, and they do not include revenue, watch time or audience retention. Read the full methodology.
